In this module, we’ll take a look at who was harmed by your actions. Who was it? For starters, who is upset with you and calling you out for what you did? We will call this person the victim, but he may not be the only victim. There may be other innocent and not so innocent parties hurt by your actions.

For instance, Theo had an affair with Dominic, but his wife, Stacy, found out and is angry with him. They have kids who have been bystanders to their fights. Theo decided to try to save his marriage by making an apology. Stacy is a definite victim. She is demanding a reckoning, but she’s not the only victim. Dominic and the kids have also been victimized. There may be reasons not to apologize or even approach some victims, but we’ll deal with that in a later module. For now, simply identify your victims.
